A tower, all in stone.

Stacked stone carried up a full tower, around slot windows and arched balcony openings, with every course kept level the whole way up. It’s the kind of job you can see from the street.

06How a job goes

From bare ground to finished stone.

Most jobs follow the same path, whether it’s a fire pit, a wall or a brick kitchen.

    03

    Build the base

  4. A low natural stone wall going in along a wooden porch
    04

08FAQ

Good to know before you call.

Are estimates free?

Yes. Estimates are free. Call or text (832) 643-1763, or send the form, and Guillermo will set up a time to look at the job.

How long has GZ Masonry been around?

Since 2010. Every photo on this site is one of Guillermo’s own jobs.

What kind of work do you do?

Stone, brick and concrete: outdoor fireplaces and chimneys, fire pits and seat walls, flagstone patios and paver walkways, retaining walls, stone and brick mailboxes, stone walls, columns and facades, whitewashed brick and stacked stone inside the house, and concrete slabs and block walls.

Can you match the brick or stone already on my house?

Tell Guillermo what’s on the house now, or text him a photo. He’ll talk through which stone or brick will sit right next to it before anything is ordered.

Do you work inside the house too?

Yes. Whitewashed brick walls and columns in kitchens, and stacked-stone fireplace walls that run up to the ceiling are both on the Our Work page.

Do you pour the slab, or just build on it?

Both. The crew sets forms, vapor barrier and rebar, pours and finishes the slab, then builds the fire pit, bench or wall on top of it.

What should I send to get a price?

A couple of photos of the space and a rough size. Text them to (832) 643-1763, or use the quote form and Guillermo will call you back.
